Wendy Mink began her jewelry business in 1988 after completing her MFA at Columbia University. From the outset her work was influenced by frequent travels to Nepal and surrounding areas. A favorite at Barney’s and other high-end boutiques, the very best materials available are used in her work – the silver is sterling and the gold finish is 22k vermeil. Accents include genuine semi-precious stones, Swarovski Austrian crystal and freshwater pearls.Her studio is located in the Greenwich Village area of New York City.

Wasabi jewelry was founded in 1992 by Jill Pearson.  She is a third generation Japanese American who lives in California, USA.  Jill’s lifelong fascination with gemstones is the driving force behind Wasabi and she embraces the clean, streamlined design of her Asian culture while also including the more American tradition of inventive, stylish jewelry.

As an art director, producer and package designer, Roberta worked for Clinique and Cosmair’s Designer Fragrance Division that included Ralph Lauren, Paloma Picasso, Cacharel, Guy Laroche, and Giorgio Armani. She later succeeded as Vice President of Creative for Yves Saint Laurent Perfumes, overseeing Public Relations, Special Events, In Store Design and Advertising.

Michal Golan is an Israeli born, New York City based, painter, printer and jewelry designer. In her studio Michal creates hand worked jewelry pieces which combine the look of the antique with contemporary fashion sensibility. Michal’s designs are inspired by Byzantine jewelry with its generous use of gemstones and pearls, and from jewelry made during the reign of Queen Victoria. Influences from Middle Eastern art, particularly mosaic styles are also apparent in her lavish decoration of surfaces and use of brilliant colors.  The jewelry is all hand-crafted in 24K gld or sterling silver electroplated over brass or white metal. Semi-precious stones and fresh-water pearls are all genuine.
